To make a day of it

Schloss Freudental (Allensbach) stands in Allensbach (Landkreis Konstanz), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Schloss Freudental is a small baroque palace in Allensbach, close to Lake Constance, offering open views toward the Austrian and Swiss Alps. It was built for Baron Franz Dominik von Praßberg, chief steward of the Bishopric of Constance, who engaged the finest craftsmen of his day. Builder Michael Wiedenmann, already known for his work on the conventual building of Neresheim Abbey, oversaw construction and personally created the ornate stucco ceilings found inside.
