Haus Palant stands in Eschweiler (Städteregion Aachen), in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Haus Palant, in the Weisweiler district of Eschweiler, was the ancestral seat of the powerful von Palant noble family. Of the estate once praised as one of the finest in the Jülich region, only the outer courtyard survives, a three-winged rubble-stone building with a richly decorated gatehouse under a mansard roof. The main manor house, rebuilt around 1600 in Dutch Renaissance style, was lost over the centuries to warfare, earthquakes and demolition.
