Burg Baesweiler stands in Baesweiler (Städteregion Aachen), in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Burg Baesweiler stands in the town centre of Baesweiler, within the Städteregion Aachen district. Once a moated manor, it still shows its four wings arranged around a courtyard on a trapezoidal brick base, a layout typical of Rhineland fortified farmsteads. A pointed archway framed in blue stone and topped with the coats of arms of the von Randerath and von Schilling families still forms the entrance. The building now houses a cultural centre with a public library and a collection of knights' armour.
