Haus Opherdicke is a former moated manor house standing on the ridge of the Haar, overlooking the Ruhr valley near Holzwickede in the Kreis Unna. First recorded in 1176, it passed through several owning families before being rebuilt into its present form between 1683 and 1687. Since acquiring the property in 1980, the Kreis Unna has used it to host art exhibitions, including works from the Frank Brabant collection, as well as chamber concerts.
