To make a day of it
Burg Sulzburg (Lautertal) stands in Unterlenningen (Landkreis Esslingen), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Burg Sulzburg stands as a ruin on a rocky spur above the Lautertal valley, near Unterlenningen. Its origins date back to the 14th century under the lords of Neidlingen, and its layout can still be traced clearly: an outer bailey, an outer enclosure wall, and a strongly walled core. Notable remains include the massive shield wall, still standing to a considerable height, and traces of the two former residential halls, the old and the new palas, that once formed the heart of the stronghold.
