Burg Arnshaugk stands in Neustadt an der Orla (Saale-Orla-Kreis), in Thuringia, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
Burg Arnshaugk stands at Neustadt an der Orla, in the Saale-Orla-Kreis, in Thuringia, on a westward-facing rocky spur. Of this medieval stronghold only a handful of outbuildings remain, dating from the 16th and 17th centuries and located on the site of the former outer bailey. The keep collapsed in 1700, and little else of the residential buildings has survived. The place is chiefly of historical interest, tied to the Lords of Lobdeburg who resided here in the 13th century and to a treaty signed on the site in 1428 between the Dukes of Saxony and the Burgrave of Meissen.
