It consisted of a simple rectangular enclosure fed by the waters of the Veybach stream, surrounding a noble residence that had no real defensive purpose. It was called a Burg mainly because of its watery setting and its ownership by a noble family. Since the 1990s, the site has been home to a public park with a playground and a skatepark.
