Châteaux de Mello stands in Mello (Oise), in the Hauts-de-France region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century, third quarter of the 18th century, third quarter of the 19th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
In Mello, in the Oise department, two neighbouring châteaux stand together under the name Grand Mello: the Forteresse, descended from a medieval stronghold, and the Princesse, a residence completed in 1871 by Hippolyte Destailleur. The site combines fifteenth century remains, classical facades and Second Empire additions, bearing the marks of successive owning families, from the Néelle to the Montmorency and later the Seillière. Several building phases are layered upon the same hilltop overlooking the surrounding land.
