To make a day of it

Château Pichon-Longueville stands in Pauillac (Gironde), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Château Pichon-Longueville, also known as Pichon Baron, stands at Pauillac amid a vineyard estate ranked second growth in the 1855 classification. Built in 1851 for Raoul Pichon after the old family domain was divided, the building is recognisable by its turrets and its position facing the vines, opposite the Pichon Comtesse estate. A late-1980s architectural scheme led by Jean de Gastines renewed the winemaking facilities while keeping the historic building's appearance intact.
