Château les Bouysses stands in Mercuès (Lot), in the Occitanie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 13th century, 19th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Set on the heights of Mercuès in the Lot valley, the château les Bouysses holds traces of a Cistercian priory founded in the 13th century, whose vaulted cellars still remain. The current mansion, built over these remains in the late 18th century and substantially reworked in the following one, draws on Italian architectural style with its double-flight outdoor staircase. The estate is now surrounded by vineyards planted in the 1970s.
