What the French Ministry of Culture records

La châtellenie est antérieure au 16e siècle. Toutefois, la construction actuelle remonte à la période entre la guerre de Cent ans et les guerres de Religion. Il y avait à l'origine des douves, maintenant asséchées. Le bâtiment rectangulaire donne, à l'ouest, sur une vaste cour entourée de communs et, à l'est, sur un étang. L'édifice possède des fenêtres à meneaux, une porte d'entrée fin 16e-début 17e, des échauguettes en briques aux angles et, à l'intérieur, des escaliers. Ce logis présente à la fois un caractère défensif féodal et un esthétisme Renaissance.
