What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le fief du Troncq a été acquis vers 1514 par Gilles Le Cordier, peu après son anoblissement. Resté entre les mains de la même famille jusqu'en 1742, le domaine est passé aux Savary puis a été acheté en 1787 par les De La Haye. De 1890 à 1925 environ, le domaine a appartenu à un industriel d'Elbeuf qui a procédé à d'importantes campagnes de restauration du bâti (château) , sans toutefois intervenir de manière importante sur le parc. L'ensemble comprend : - un château brique et pierre d'époque Louis XIII, doté d'une aile en retour au 18e siècle, restauré et doté d'extensions néo-Louis XIII avant 1920. - un colombier octogonal en brique et pierre, construit dans la seconde moitié du 16e siècle ou au début du 17e siècle. - un parc encore clos de murs dont les dispositions d'ensemble sont bien conservées, notamment le tracé des bosquets qui correspond aux dessins anciens. diverses dépendances élevées ou transformées au 20e siècle.
