The Château du Monay stands on a small hill overlooking the countryside of Saint-Eusèbe, in Saône-et-Loire. Originally built in the 13th century, it was substantially rebuilt during the 17th and 18th centuries, retaining from its medieval past a square tower and remnants of moats along part of its perimeter. As a private residence, it can only be seen from the outside, unless special arrangements are made with the owners.
