Surrounded by moats connected to a thirty-hectare lake, the château de la Clayette retains the towers and postern gates of a 15th-century fortified house, later extended with additional wings and an orangery. Inside, a chapel features vaulted ceilings painted with musician angels, alongside a round tower known as the Tour de Paray. A guided tour covers the main courtyard, the stables, the medieval kitchens and the park.
