Château de Gorze stands in Germolles-sur-Grosne (Saône-et-Loire), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The château de Gorze stands on a hillside in the commune of Germolles-sur-Grosne, in Saône-et-Loire. Built of pink and grey granite from 1671 onward for the Berthet family, to plans by the architect Paul de Royers de La Valfenière, it now retains only its two original corner pavilions, the central section having been reduced to ground-floor level in the early 20th century. From outside, visitors can see the round-arched gateway bearing the Berthet coat of arms and the date 1707, along with the family motto carved above it.
