Château de Rosey stands in Rosey (Saône-et-Loire), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: third quarter of the 18th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The château de Rosey stands on a hillside south of the village, in the Saône-et-Loire region. Built in 1767 for Antoine Clerguet, head captain of the royal falconry, it displays a north facade marked by a projecting bay with a wrought iron balcony and an oval oculus, while the south facade opens with three round arched bays beneath a pediment. The estate is privately owned and not open to visitors, though its facades and roofs can be seen from the approach road and the tree lined avenue leading to the courtyard.
