Château du Bois de la Motte stands in Pleslin-Trigavou (Côtes-d'Armor), in the Bretagne region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.
In Pleslin-Trigavou, this fifteenth-century Breton château stands on an island encircled by a pond that once served as its moat. The long main building is entered through a taller central pavilion topped with a mansard roof, where the openings once used for the drawbridge mechanism are still visible, the drawbridge itself having been replaced by a stone bridge. The estate, which also includes a mound and a chapel, traces back to a lordship raised to marquisate status in the early seventeenth century.
