Château de Bienassis stands in Erquy (Côtes-d'Armor), in the Bretagne region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: second half of the 15th century). Adult admission costs 8 EUR. Its opening hours and prices were verified at the source on September 5, 2026.
In Erquy, on the coast of the Côtes-d'Armor, the Château de Bienassis stands behind a still-visible system of water-filled moats, a legacy of a 12th-century feudal mound later rebuilt as a pink granite residence at the end of the 15th century. The de Kerjégu family, who have lived there for more than a hundred years, open to visitors a main building blending Renaissance and 18th-century features, set within a park of over 60 hectares with a formal garden and a walled kitchen garden. Visitors can see the ground floor of the building, from the guard room to the medieval kitchens, as well as the grounds, including the old stables and the chapel by the ramparts.
