To make a day of it

Manoir de Saint-Quijeau stands in Lanvénégen (Morbihan), in the Bretagne region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: second half of the 15th century, first half of the 18th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

At Lanvénégen, in the Morbihan, the manor of Saint-Quijeau still bears the layout of a noble residence founded in the 15th century, later reshaped in the 18th century by the marquis de Plœuc family according to the architectural taste of their time. The enclosed courtyard, lined by the main house, the chapel and matching outbuildings, shows this transformation while keeping the original layout intact. A private owner has been carrying out restoration work there since 2016, starting with the ruined eastern chapel.
