To make a day of it

Château de la Crochais stands in Beaussais-sur-Mer (Côtes-d'Armor), in the Bretagne region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

In Beaussais-sur-Mer, on the former territory of Ploubalay, the château de la Crochais brings together two distinct periods: a 15th-century manor house flanked by a round tower likely containing a spiral staircase, and an 18th-century neoclassical building set in front of it. The courtyard facade of the latter displays five regular bays with tall rectangular windows, with a triangular pediment on the left side. The site, which once included a chapel dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, lies near an underground structure dating from the late Iron Age.
