Château du Bernstein stands in Dambach-la-Ville (Bas-Rhin), in the Grand Est region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 12th century, 13th century, 15th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Set on a granite ridge above Dambach-la-Ville at an altitude of 562 metres, Bernstein Castle ranks among the oldest fortresses in Alsace, first recorded in 1009. Most of the surviving ruins were built between the late 12th and early 13th centuries, forming three distinct sections: the upper castle, the lower castle, and the outer works. The pentagonal keep, facing the Dachfirst mountain, is the best-preserved part of the site and can still be entered.
