What the French Ministry of Culture records

Au 12e siècle, apparaît le fief de la Tour de Turcey. Au 15e siècle, le château comportait sur une motte une enceinte surmontée d'un chemin de ronde, une tour et une grange. Au début du 17e siècle, le château est rebâti par Etienne de Loisie (de cette époque date le décor peint de la chapelle). A la fin du 18e siècle, le château est laissé à l'abandon puis vendu comme bien national en l'an IV. Il est ensuite utilisé comme ensemble agricole. En 1897, deux cheminées du corps de logis sont vendues et remontées à Dijon, l'une au Palais de Justice, l'autre au lycée Carnot.
