Château de Tirpoil stands in Montilliers (Maine-et-Loire), in the Pays de la Loire region of France. No visits are on record for this building.
The Château de Tirpoil stands in Montilliers, in the Maine-et-Loire department, between the villages of Montilliers and Vihiers. Built from 1842 onward in a Renaissance revival style and substantially reworked in the early twentieth century, it replaced an earlier manor house dating back to the fifteenth century, traces of which still remain nearby. Surrounded by woodland and ponds, the house has passed through a series of private owners over time, from the d'Hector family to the entrepreneurs Bouin and Regouin, down to its most recent occupants.
