What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château est un édifice de la seconde moitié du 15e siècle, construit en deux campagnes très proches. Il se compose d'une vaste enceinte rectangulaire et était accompagné au 18e siècle d'un parc enclos de murs. Incendié en 1792, il est resté depuis à l'état de ruines. De l'enceinte, subsiste la majeure partie de la courtine nord, une partie de la courtine ouest et la tour d'angle sud-ouest qui abrite un pigeonnier. La courtine est constitue la façade du corps de logis ; ce corps de bâtiment, à plan en équerre, possède une tour d'escalier à vis dans-oeuvre flanqué d'une tourelle secondaire. Il ne reste rien des aménagements intérieurs, les planchers s'étant effondrés.
