Château de Teillan stands in Aimargues (Gard), in the Occitanie region of France. In Aimargues, in the Gard department, the château de Teillan stands on a site occupied since Roman times, and its park still holds Roman milestones, ancient stelae and a 17th century noria linked to the Vidourle river. The main building, largely erected at the end of the 16th century by the Bornier family, is arranged around an inner courtyard and includes a dovecote with 1,500 nesting holes and a Renaissance doorway with rustication. Visitors come both for the lordly architecture and for the lapidary collection assembled in the park as early as the 17th century.
