What the French Ministry of Culture records

Un château féodal devait exister vraisemblablement dès le 11e siècle. Du premier château édifié en 1305 par Guillaume de Nogaret ne subsiste que le donjon carré avec sa tourelle. Construction du château Renaissance dans la seconde moitié du 16e siècle (aile Renaissance sur cour). Aile imitation Renaissance réalisée dans la deuxième moitié du 17e siècle. Orangerie, portail d'entrée, cour d'honneur et jardin du 18e siècle.
