What the French Ministry of Culture records

Première mention des seigneurs de Miglos au 12e siècle. A cette époque, le rocher était couvert de fortifications. Tombée en ruine, la forteresse a dû être reconstruite au 14e siècle. L'enceinte quadrangulaire est flanquée, au sud-est, d'une première tour comportant cinq niveaux. Au nord-ouest, une seconde tour présente un rez-de-chaussée occupé par une salle voûtée. Ces deux tours, ainsi que les murailles qui les relient, sont percées de baies rectangulaires.
