What the French Ministry of Culture records

Premier château démoli en 1580, lors de la lutte contre les Catholiques. Reconstruit de 1741 à 1750 (maison de maître de forges) , jardin aménagé en 1739. Restauré en 1870-1875. La façade principale présente un soubassement important, deux niveaux de fenêtres et un comble à lucarnes. L'avant-corps central est surmonté d'un fronton. Deux avant-corps latéraux. L'intérieur présente des pièces en enfilade, aux plafonds à la française et décors de stuc ou de bois sculpté. Au premier étage, deux chambres conservent des papiers peints Empire.
