A rare surviving example of the pre-Renaissance period in France, it combines a 15th century noble residence with polygonal towers and ornate windows, alongside an entrance block reworked in the 17th century. Rescued from ruin by a volunteer association since 2002, it still bears the marks of its turbulent past, from deliberate demolition to recent restoration work.
