What the French Ministry of Culture records

Seigneurie remontant au 12e siècle au moins (construction du donjon). Au 14e siècle, on ajoute les tourelles d'encorbellement. La chapelle fut détruite sous la Révolution. Le donjon du 12e siècle faisait partie d'un système défensif comprenant sept tours et une chapelle. Le donjon carré est surmonté de quatre tourelles en encorbellement. L'intérieur, détruit, possédait des cheminées du 15e siècle.
