On the left bank of the Bouzanne river, at Tendu, stand the ruins of a medieval stronghold whose keep dates back to at least the 12th century. Reworked after the Hundred Years' War, the castle once formed part of a defensive system with seven towers and a chapel, now gone. What remains to be seen today is mainly the square keep topped with corbelled turrets and a round tower attached to the former residential wing, the clearest traces of a once much larger fortress.
