L'ancien château date du 15e siècle, mais a été complètement remanié, et peut-être agrandi, au 17e siècle. L'une des salles présente des solives apparentes ornées de peintures décoratives pouvant remonter à l'époque de Louis XIII. Le corps de cheminée en pierre est orné d'un décor d'architecture peint en trompe l'oeil. Au centre, une peinture paraît représenter une scène antique montrant un personnage s'avançant vers une femme accompagnée de guerriers, des vaisseaux étant représentés à l'arrière.
