Château de Lunegarde stands in Lunegarde (Lot), in the Occitanie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 18th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.
The château de Lunegarde stands at the edge of the village in the Lot department, on the site of an old seigneury whose original stronghold, destroyed during the Hundred Years' War, once stood near the church. The present building was raised in the 18th century by the Vidal de Lapize family, with a main wing built in 1736 and a second wing completed in 1773. Still owned by descendants of that family, it remains a private property and is not open to visitors.
