Built in the 17th century on the site of an older manor house, it still has a 16th century dovecote and underwent major changes at the end of the 19th century, when two wings were pulled down and a new façade in the Louis XV style was added. The estate also includes a farm built in the mid 19th century, originally intended as a model farm for an agricultural school, along with a French formal garden shaped by successive generations of owners.
