What the French Ministry of Culture records

Ancienne résidence de la reine Hortense ; appartenait anciennement au domaine impérial de la Malmaison (comme le domaine de VertMont). La Petite Malmaison était la serre chaude du domaine (composée d'un bâtiment à usage de réception et d'habitation et de la serre proprement dite) , commencée par Morel entre 1803 et 1805, terminée par Thibault et Vignon en 1805. Parc aménagé par Berthault en 1807. Aménagement du salon et installation de la fontaine décorée d'un satyre. Verrières de la serre détruites dès le milieu du 19e siècle.
