To make a day of it
Château de Voisins stands in Louveciennes (Yvelines), in the Île-de-France region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: first quarter of the 19th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The château de Voisins stands in Louveciennes, in the Yvelines department, on an estate occupied since the mid 17th century but entirely rebuilt in the early 19th century. Its then owner, Count Hocquart de Turtot, found the old building too decayed and had it razed to build the house seen today. The estate later passed through several prominent families, including the Beer-Goldschmidts, who hosted the poet Leconte de Lisle there, and later the Rothschilds. Owned by BNP Paribas since 1946, it now serves as a corporate training centre.
