Château de la Motte d'Anjoin stands in Anjouin (Indre), in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: first half of the 17th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le fief dépendait de la seigneurie de Graçay et les chanoines de la Sainte-Chapelle en étaient suzerains. Jusque en 1596, les aveux décrivent un manoir entouré de fossés franchis par un pont-levis et défendu par des tours. Son enceinte renferme plusieurs bâtiments. Hors des fossés s'étendent deux jardins clos, la métairie et un étang proche de la basse-cour. La description de 1675 montre que la demeure a été rajeunie sans doute par reconstruction. La nouvelle demeure seigneuriale comprenait deux corps de logis bâtis en pavillon et disposés en équerre. L'un, couvert d'ardoise, devait être un bâtiment neuf ; l'autre, en tuile, devait appartenir à l'édifice antérieur. Ce dernier a été démoli entre 1756 et 1811. La maison, de plan rectangulaire, est installée au fond d'une petite cour et conserve une courtine entourée d'un fossé d'eau vive. Ses façades manifestent encore un goût pour la dissymétrie. Un escalier en fer à cheval monte jusqu'à la porte d'entrée.
