Domaine très homogène édifié pour l'industriel lyonnais Henry Roux de Bézieux à la fin du 19e siècle (entre 1893 et 1899) dans l'esprit du 18e siècle, peut-être par un architecte lyonnais Paul de Montclos. Edifice de style néo-Régence entouré de jardins dus à Henri Duchêne et peuplés de statues et de vases d'ornement. On accède à la propriété par une avenue bordée par la ferme et le potager à l'ouest. A l'est, s'étend un jardin régulier sur une terrasse. Le château comprend un rez-de-chaussée surélevé (pièces de réception) un étage carré (chambres à alcôves) et un comble couvert d'un toit à brisis et terrasson.
