Seigneurie mentionnée dès le 11e siècle. Le château actuel a été construit en 1840. Le logis, est un bâtiment de plan rectangulaire sur deux étages, plus combles. Au rez-de-chaussée, le grand hall d'entrée et l'escalier d'honneur desservent les pièces de réception (salle à manger, bibliothèque, grand salon) , et une chambre au premier étage. Le deuxième étage se compose de chambres. Au nord-ouest se situent les dépendances. Au nord-est se trouve la chapelle, reconstruite en 1854. Ce château est l'un des grands édifices néo-classiques conservés en Bretagne.
