To make a day of it

Château de Gemmelaincourt stands in Gemmelaincourt (Vosges), in the Grand Est region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

Standing in Gemmelaincourt, in the western Vosges, this château was built in the late 18th century by the lord of Bassompierre on the remains of an old hunting lodge. Its main façade faces the village, while the opposite side opens onto the Vraine river. Over time the building served different purposes, from presbytery to private residence, and still bears traces of a fire that struck it in 2015.
