What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château s'élève dans une cour fortifiée dont l'accès se fait par un châtelet d'entrée. Le portail est encadré de piliers plats, et surmonté d'un écusson et d'une fenêtre à meneaux. Une tour ronde du mur d'enceinte, tronquée, est accolée au bâtiment d'habitation qui consiste en un corps de logis barlong adossé à un donjon carré à cinq étages séparés par un larmier. Les fenêtres et la porte datent du début du 16e siècle. Une grosse tour du 13e siècle, en ruine, se dresse derrière le donjon.
