The château de Demigny, in Étrigny in the Saône-et-Loire department, replaced an older feudal castle in the 18th century before being relocated itself in 1805. The former outbuildings, left standing on the original site, still house a wooden wheel press dated 1777, while a timber-framed chapel remains in the park, built over the cellars of the earlier building. The estate once belonged to the Marquis de Foudras and later to Émile Guimet, before passing in 1932 to the Leflaive family.
