Château de Cléron stands in Cléron (Doubs), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 18th century, 19th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Standing on the banks of the River Loue at a former strategic ford on the old salt route, Cléron castle dates back to the early 14th century and was extensively remodelled from 1840 onwards in a medieval revival style. A private property belonging to the Montrichard family, it retains a keep, machicolations and arrow slits, along with a clock tower added in the 19th century. Only the gardens can be visited, featuring two carved stone lions, a dolls' house and an ornamental trellis structure brought from a mansion in Besançon.
