What the French Ministry of Culture records

Château édifié en 1778 par l'architecte Claude Joseph Alexandre Bertrand. Les bâtiments furent disposés en arrière de l'ancien château. L'organisation des accès et le tracé du jardin devaient compléter la mise en scène du site. Les travaux sont interrompus par la Révolution. Au 19e siècle, un parc paysager est constitué autour du château. Le corps de logis et les communs forment un plan en U, enserrant la cour d'honneur en terrasse. La façade sur terrasse, cantonnée de deux tours, est centrée par une rotonde. A l'intérieur, vestibule à l'italienne avec colonnes, et un décor Louis XVI d'origine comprenant une série de papiers peints. Le bâtiment sud des communs conserve une cuisine voûtée d'ogives. En contrebas de l'aile nord, la ferme est constituée par deux bâtiments parallèles.
