In the village of Vebret, the château de Couzan still shows its square 15th century keep, around which a neo-gothic residence was built in the late 19th century for the Vaublanc family. Trachyte stone, conical roofs and round towers give the whole a layered, multi-period character. The interior, refitted in 1896, keeps its woodwork, fireplaces and a grand staircase with wrought iron railings. The estate also retains its outbuildings: a washhouse, an orangery, a woodshed and terraces.
