Château de Coëtquen stands in Saint-Hélen (Côtes-d'Armor), in the Bretagne region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century, 17th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
In Saint-Hélen, in the Côtes-d'Armor department, the ruins of the château de Coëtquen recall a 15th century fortress dismantled during the Wars of the League. A keep and a 17th century dwelling, built on the old foundations, still stood until a chimney collapsed at the end of 1950, causing part of the building to be demolished. Two tower bases from the 15th century remain nearby. The site inspired the novel Patira by Raoul de Navery.
