In Taden, near the church, the Grand-Cour manor stands at the centre of an enclosed site and was once the main seigneurial residence of the viscounty of Taden, which depended on Dinan. Built at the very end of the 14th century, it is an example of a gatehouse dwelling: two separate residential wings linked at ground level by a carriage gateway topped with a stair turret. Visitors can still see the gateway's plain tympanum, which once bore a painted coat of arms, and the platform with its corbelled turret crowning the structure.
