Château de Coët-Candec stands in Locmaria-Grand-Champ (Morbihan), in the Bretagne region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 13th century, 15th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château est une juxtaposition d'habitations successives dont chacune a subi des transformations au cours du temps (au 19e siècle, suppression des meneaux des baies ; élargissement des ouvertures primitives ; murs, poutres et poutrelles des plafonds sont recouverts de plâtre ; dallages remplacés par des parquets point de Hongrie...). Le château comporte une enceinte entourée de murs et de fossés. Certaines tours ont été conservées. L'entrée était au nord et devait comporter un travail de fortifications important. Sans doute après une seconde enceinte, accès au château dont la partie la plus ancienne doit se trouver au nord (13e ou 14e siècle). La partie centrale du château date du 15e siècle. La façade Est conserve une tour d'escalier polygonale et un avant-corps renfermant de petites dépendances. Une troisième partie achève le château vers le sud, comprenant une grosse tour à l'angle sud-ouest. A l'intérieur, cheminées sculptées d'armoiries peintes.
