To make a day of it

Château de Chiseuil stands in Digoin (Saône-et-Loire), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

The château de Chiseuil stands above Digoin on a gentle wooded rise, set between a courtyard and parkland. Rebuilt in the 18th century for the Maublanc family, who had made their fortune in river trade on the Loire, it combines a central block with two short wings joined by a later terraced gallery. It remains a private residence and cannot be visited inside, though its exterior and park with a water feature can be seen from the road.
