Construit en 1913 par l’architecte Hector Guimard, qui a donné les élévations du château, l’édifice présente quatre façades différentes en brique, pierre, béton et ciment. A l’intérieur, la disposition d’origine est rationnelle et met un accent particulier sur l’hygiène. La demeure conserve quelques éléments de décor de style Art-Nouveau, comme les garde-corps ou l’entrée en grès bleu turquoise.
