Château construit par Jean le Mairat en 1626. La partie qui fait face aux douves conserve des éléments de fortifications qui peuvent dater du 16e siècle et témoignent du château précédent attribuable à la famille de Choiseul, propriétaire jusqu'en 1596. Le bâtiment commencé au 16e siècle n'a été terminé que dans la seconde moitié du 18e siècle (façade sur cour et couverture).
